  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (white whole wheat flour)
  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour (white)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (pure)
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 1/2 cups yogurt (plain)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combined all dry ingredients.

  • Step 2: Beat together egg, maple syrup, oil and yogurt.

  • Step 3: Stir in the dry ingredients, just enough to moisten. Fold in nuts and spoon into well greased muffin tins, filling 2/3 full.

  • Step 4: Bake in 400F oven for 15-20 minutes or until browned.
