  • 1 3/4 cup whole apricots (canned, in syrup)
  • 1 3/4 cup pineapple slices (canned, in syrup)
  • 1 teaspoons whole cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/3 cup vinegar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Drain syrups from fruit cans and reserve.

  • Step 2: Add cloves and cinnamon to syrups, bring to a boil and boil until liquid is reduced to 2 cups.

  • Step 3: Stir in molasses and vinegar and heat, stirring, until molasses well combined with syrups.

  • Step 4: Remove cinnamon stick and cloves with slotted spoon.

  • Step 5: Lower heat, add fruit and heat gently.

  • Step 6: Serve hot or refrigerate and serve cold later on.
