Step 1: Remove peel from banana.
Step 2: Wrap banana in heavy-duty plastic wrap, and freeze until firm.
Step 3: Remove banana from freezer, and cut into large chunks.
Step 4: Place banana in container of an electric blender; add milk, sugar, and vanilla.
Step 5: Cover and process on high speed 2 minutes or until smooth.
Step 6: Pour into chilled glasses to serve.
