  • 1 large shallot, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 3 to 3 3/4 ounces bread slices (2 to 3 slices white bread, crusts removed, made into crumbs)
  • 2 tablespoons oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: Squeeze all the liquid from the crab.

  • Step 2: Mix all the ingredients except crab & bread crumbs.

  • Step 3: Add crab mix gently.

  • Step 4: Add bread crumbs, mix gently.

  • Step 5: Form into small patties.

  • Step 6: Fry the cakes until golden of each side.

  • Step 7: Drain on paper towel if necessary.
