Keep covered and set aside. ***onions can be prepared ahead of time, cool and refrigerate for up to 4 days; reheat and microwave them for 30 - 60 seconds before proceeding.
Step 2: In an microwavable bowl combine the pork and barbecue sauce; cover with a microwavable plate. Microwave on high until heated through 3-5 minutes.
Step 3: Fill buns with pork and onions.
