Step 1: Shake beef in bag with flour, salt and pepper.
Step 2: In large skillet or Dutch oven, brown meat in butter. Add chopped onions, garlic, wine, broth, water, thyme and basil. Cover. Simmer 2 hours or until meat is tender.
Step 3: Add whole onions. Cook 15 minutes or until tender. Stir in mushrooms. Cook 10 minutes. Mix in mustard.
Step 4: Serve on bed of noodles if desired.
