Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 cups apples, sliced (peeled, cored - Granny Smith suggested)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (unbleached)
  • 1/2 cup oats (quick-cooking rolled oats)
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 box (3.4 ounce)instant butterscotch pudding mix (4-serving package)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (very cold)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Coat the inside of your slow cooker w/cooking spray. Pour the sliced apples into the slow cooker.

  • Step 2: In a bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, pudding mix & cinnamon. Cut in the cold butter to make a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle over the sliced apples.

  • Step 3: Cover & cook on low for 5 hrs. Spoon the crisp into dessert cups to serve warm or cooled.
