Step 3: While the oatmeal cooks, roughly chop the mixed nuts and chocolate chips. Set aside in a small serving bowl.
Step 4: When the oatmeal is ready, serve hot with milk or cream on the side, and sprinkle with the nut and chocolate mixture.
