  • 1/4 cup sherry wine (dry sack)
  • 1/4 cup red wine (Burgundy wine)
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place onions & sugar in a large non-stick skillet. Cook over med-heat (stirring often) until sugar melts & onions are caramelized (about 30 min).

  • Step 2: Add sherry, burgundy, apple juice & soy sauce. Cook till liquids are reduced & season lightly w/salt to taste preferences (about 15 min).

  • Step 3: Allow to cool completely before using. Store under refrigeration.
