Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 can (4 ounce) mushrooms (drained, 1 cup fresh, sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 package (10 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables (thawed, same size package of peas)
  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk (if you want it more saucy add another 1/4th to 1/3 cup milk)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups instant rice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large skillet over medium heat,add butter and mushrooms,cook until mushrooms until lightly browned.

  • Step 2: Add vegetables,soup,milk,and pepper then bring to a boil.

  • Step 3: Reduce heat,cover and simmer for 2 minutes.

  • Step 4: Stir in rice,cover and remove from heat.

  • Step 5: After 5 minutes,stir in garlic powder and additional pepper if needed.
