Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground Beef (I used an 80/20 blend)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • Onion soup mix (1 envelope)
  • 1 can (15 ounce) can red kidney beans,drained
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 can (8 ounce) tomato sauce (I used one that had basil,oregano,&garlic added)
  • 3 teaspoons chili powder

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a 12 inch skillet over medium-high heat,add ground beef,,seasoning salt,and garlic powder and cook until meat is browned.

  • Step 2: Drain if needed,return to skillet and add remaining ingredients.

  • Step 3: Stir all ingredients well and bring to a boil over medium high heat.

  • Step 4: Cover and reduce to simmer for 25 minutes,stirring occasionally.

  • Step 5: If desired top individual servings with cheese.
