  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 2 (1/2 pound) boneless chicken breasts (whole, cut into pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seed (toasted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine teriyaki sauce and sugar in small bowl.

  • Step 2: Stir in chicken; marinate 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 3: Remove chicken; reserve 2 tablespoons marinade.

  • Step 4: Combine reserved marinade, water and cornstarch in small bowl; set side.

  • Step 5: Heat oil in hot wok or skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Step 6: Add chicken and sesame seed; stir fry 2 minutes.

  • Step 7: Stir in cornstarch mixture.

  • Step 8: Cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens and chicken is tender, about 1 minute.

  • Step 9: Turn into chafing dish or onto serving platter.

  • Step 10: Serve warm with wooden picks.
