Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or special dark chocolate chips)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons mint extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (mint flavor)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare a 9 x 9 inch baking pan with cooking spray(if you want your brownies thicker,use an 8 x 8 inch pan and adjust cooking time).

  • Step 2: In a small bowl mix together flour,baking soda,and salt then set aside.

  • Step 3: Over medium low heat in a medium size sauce pan add water,butter,sugar,and chocolate chips.

  • Step 4: Stir until butter and chips are melted and sugar is dissolved.

  • Step 5: Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes then add mint.

  • Step 6: Add eggs one at a time and beat well.

  • Step 7: Mix in flour and combine well then add in mint chips and pour into prepared pan.

  • Step 8: Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

  • Step 9: If desired sprinkle with powdered sugar.
