Step 1: Over medium heart, stir vinegar and sugar together in a small pan. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely, about 7-10 minutes.
Step 2: Add the salt, and reduce heat to low. Simmer until thickened slightly, about 5 minutes.
Step 3: Remove from heat and add the chili garlic sauce into the sauce pan. Stir well.
Step 4: Allow to cool to room temperature before serving. May be served cold out of the refrigerator after making and chilling.
