Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped red pepper (I didn't use it)
  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder (divided)
  • 2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning (divided)
  • 2 teaspoon dried oregano,divided
  • 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large skillet over medium heat add ground beef,onion,and red pepper.

  • Step 2: Then stir in salt,1 teaspoon each of the following,garlic powder,Italian seasoning,and oregano

  • Step 3: Cook until meat is browned and vegetables are softened.

  • Step 4: If needed drain meat and return to skillet.

  • Step 5: Add tomato sauce,paste,chopped tomato,and remaining seasonings stirring well and also stirring occasionally.

  • Step 6: Reduce to low and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
