Step 1: Mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, sugar, garlic and optional red pepper flakes together in a bowl. Coat the salmon pieces in the marinade and chill for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Step 2: Preheat oven to 425F.
Step 3: Spray a 13x9 Pyrex dish with cooking spray.
Step 4: Arrange the salmon pieces skin side down; spooning marinade over and around the fillets.
Step 5: Roast uncovered for 11-12 minutes.
Step 6: Serve with steamed rice, and broccoli or snow peas.
