Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces ground beef
  • 8 ounces ground pork
  • 8 ounces beef sirloin (cube steak, top round or top sirloin cut into small pieces)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped sweet onion
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 can (8 ounce) tomato paste
  • 1 can (14 ounce) tomatoes (chili ready tomatoes)
  • 1 can (16 ounce) pinto beans (drained, or as close to the size as you can get)
  • 1(16 ounce)can white kidney beans (drained, or as close to the size as you can get)
  • CHILI SEASONING
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin

How to Make

  • Step 1: Over medium heat in a dutch oven,add all three meats,onions,and seasoned salt cook until meats are browned and onion is softened.

  • Step 2: Drain meat/onion mixture and return to pan.

  • Step 3: Add beans and chili ready tomatoes.

  • Step 4: Then,add Chili Seasoning ingredients and stir well.

  • Step 5: Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes,stirring occasionally.

  • Step 6: If desired top with cheese.
