Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3/4 cup oil (can use olive oil or vegetable or canola oil)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (do not use salad dressing)
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk (if you don’t like the flavor of buttermilk then milk will work well also)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced (garlic lovers use a extra large clove)
  • 3 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil (rubbed between fingers to release the flavors)
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt or white salt
  • Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
  • Tabasco sauce, optional and to taste
