Step 1: In a skillet, melt butter and saute onions and apples until translucent.
Step 2: Combine sauerkraut, apple/onion mixture, ketchup and dill in the slow cooker. Stir in kielbasa.
Step 3: Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours. (The cooking time depends upon your slow cooker. Newer models cook faster.)
