Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Seasoning blend spice (suggested 2 1/2 teaspoons roasted chipotle & onion seasoning blend, but taco seasoning can be used)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped cilantro
  • 1 green (6 ounces) bell pepper (fine dice)
  • 1 red (6 ounces) bell pepper (fine dice)
  • 1 whole (6 ounce) tomato (seeds removed & pulp diced)
  • 1 bunch green onions (sliced)
  • 1 whole (6 ounce) red onion (diced)
  • 1 cup salsa (lime & garlic flavor suggested)
  • 658 grams bratwurst sausage (8 bratwurst, Johnsonville Hot & Spicy suggested, but sub your choice of brats)
  • 8 ounces Monterey Jack pepper cheese (shredded)
  • 8 (48 ounces) flour tortillas (10 to 12-inch, may use as small as 8 inch tortillas)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix 1st 9 ingredients & set aside.

  • Step 2: Prepare brats per pkg directions & set aside, but keep warm.

  • Step 3: Warm flour tortillas, immediately sprinkle 1 ounce of shredded cheese down the center of each tortilla & top each tortilla w/a warm brat.

  • Step 4: Generously spoon the sauce/veggie mixture down each side of the brat & roll tortilla to enclose the contents.

  • Step 5: To Serve: If using 10-12 inch tortillas, you will likely have enough tortilla to fold over 1 or both ends & eat by hand. If using 8 inch tortillas, just roll it up, plan to use a knife & fork & serve w/any remaining sauce. When you taste the sauce, you will want more of it anyway!

  • Step 6: NOTE: Time does not include time to prepare bratwurst links per pkg directions. Time does include 15 min for veggie prep & 10 min for assembly.
