Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package (1 1/4 ounce) taco seasoning mix
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 can (16 ounce) beans (ranch style, chilled and drained)
  • 1 head lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 yellow onion (chopped)
  • 1 can (4 ounce) green chiles (chopped)
  • 1 pound grated cheese (grated, we like cheddar, but use your favorite cheese)
  • French dressing (chilled, 3/4 cup)
  • 2 cups crushed corn chips

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a skillet brown the ground beef and then add the seasoning and water. Stir in the beans and simmer for 10 minutes or until the beef is done.

  • Step 2: Chill mixture for 30 minutes.

  • Step 3: In a large bowl combine the salad ingredients (lettuce - dressing); chill.

  • Step 4: Just before serving combine both mixtures and toss with the chips. Toss.
