  • 1 1/2 cups corn syrup
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon maple extract
  • 1 can (12 ounce) evaporated milk

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large pot, combine corn syrup, sugar, salt, water, and maple flavoring; bring to a boil while stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes to cool. Then stir in the full can of evaporated milk.

  • Step 2: Once you’ve stirred it together well, pour the creamy maple syrup into empty syrup bottles, or whatever kind of bottles you would like.

  • NOTE: Creamy maple syrup DOES need to be refrigerated, since it has evaporated milk in it
