Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • Chile powder, 1 pinch
  • Chopped fresh jalapeno pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices (5 ounces) whole wheat bread (thick slices)
  • 8 slices (8 ounces) turkey bacon (crisply fried)
  • Tomato slices (ripe, 6 thin slices)
  • Sliced avocado (1 thin slice)
  • Cilantro (1 sprig, roughly chopped)
  • Lettuce leaves (washed)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix the mayonnaise with pinch of chile powder and chopped fresh jalapeno pepper and set aside.

  • Step 2: Toast the bread lightly. Spread each side with mayonnaise.

  • Step 3: Pile on bacon, tomato, avocado, cilantro sprigs and lettuce and top with other slice of toast.
