The ingredients are:
  • 1 can (1 pound) cranberry sauce
  • 1 box (3 ounce) strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
  • 1 1/2 cups water, boiling
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 1 banana, diced
  • 3 cups frozen whipped topping (Cool Whip)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place cranberry sauce in refrigerator overnight; it must be cold.

  • Step 2: Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water; put in refrigerator.

  • Step 3: Open cranberries; dice into bite size cubes; put back in refrigerator.

  • Step 4: Mix cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, and salt together with a mixer until smooth and creamy.

  • Step 5: Stir in pineapple, banana, and cooled Jell-O.

  • Step 6: Fold in Cool Whip.

  • Step 7: Fold in cranberry chunks.

  • Step 8: Pour into pan and chill overnight.

  • Step 9: Cut into squares and serve on a lettuce leaf, or put into a mold. I have seen nuts put into this, and one recipe froze this.
