  • 1 1/4 pounds broccoli (crowns, cut into florets)
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Red pepper flakes

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

  • Step 2: In a bowl toss the broccoli and 3 tablespoons oil; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Transfer to rimmed baking sheet.

  • Step 3: Roast for 15 minutes.

  • Step 4: In a small bowl stir in remaining oil (1/2 tablespoon), garlic and red pepper flakes. Drizzle mixture over the broccoli; toss.

  • Step 5: Roast 8-10 minutes longer or when broccoli begins to brown.

  • Step 6: Season to taste with salt and pepper.
