Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 24 ounces fresh halibut (four 6-ounce Alaskan halibut portions, fresh or frozen, thawed)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat outdoor grill to medium high heat,lightly oil the grate with cooking spray, or a grill pan sprayed with cooking spray over medium high heat.

  • Step 2: Combine butter, lemon, brown sugar ,garlic, soy sauce and pepper in a small sauce pan. Cook over medium high heat , stirring slow, until sugar dissolves.

  • Step 3: Coat halibut with the sauce and place on grill, grill for 5 minutes on each side, basting frequently, or until fish flakes easily with fork
