  • 3 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cream butter with cream cheese and sugar. Beat in egg and extracts.

  • Step 2: Combine dry ingredients. Add to cream mixture, then put in frig overnight covered.

  • Step 3: On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/8 thickness.

  • Step 4: Cut out cookies with cookie cutter dipped in flour.

  • Step 5: Bake on ungreased baking sheet, 1-inch apart in a 375 degree oven for 8 minutes until edges browned.

  • Step 6: Cool for 2 minutes before removing for wire rack.
