  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1/3 cup slivered almonds (roasted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring a pot of water to a boil.

  • Step 2: While water is boiling remove and discard outer leaves of brussels sprouts and cut a cross in the root end of each brussels sprout.

  • Step 3: Boil sprouts for 5-10 minutes. Drain.

  • Step 4: Melt butter in skillet until golden brown. Remove from heat.

  • Step 5: Stir in sprouts with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 6: Sprinkle with nuts.
