Step 1: Bring a pot of water to a boil.
Step 2: While water is boiling remove and discard outer leaves of brussels sprouts and cut a cross in the root end of each brussels sprout.
Step 3: Boil sprouts for 5-10 minutes. Drain.
Step 4: Melt butter in skillet until golden brown. Remove from heat.
Step 5: Stir in sprouts with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6: Sprinkle with nuts.
