Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 6 large sliced onions
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix water, vinegar, sugar, salt until dissolved. Bring to boil, pour over sliced onions and let stand 3 hours. Drain well.

  • Step 2: Mix mayo and sour cream with celery seed and add to onions.

  • Step 3: Season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 4: Store in fridge for 24 hrs.
