Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 fillets (8 ounce) tilapia fish
  • 1/4 cup raspberry jam
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon prepared minced ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all the ingredients together except for the tilapia in a casserole dish.

  • Step 2: Remove two tablespoons of this mixture and set aside.

  • Step 3: Add the tilapia coating both sides, cover and keep refrigerated for a couple of hours, turning halfway through.

  • Step 4: Place the tilapia fillets on a baking sheet that has been coated with non-stick spray and place in a preheated 425 degree Fahrenheit oven; cook for 12 to 14 minutes, until fish flakes easily when poked with a fork. This will depend on thickness of fish.

  • Step 5: Plate the fish and rub the reserved sauce over the fish and serve.
