Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 tablespoons brie (spread)
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 6 baguette bread slices (circular 1 inch pieces, toasted
  • 6 slices smoked salmon lox
  • 1/4 cup green onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons capers
  • Olive oil, to drizzle, optional
  • Fresh ground pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix mayonnaise, brie and horseradish together. I usually let this sit overnight to allow the flavours to meld.

  • Step 2: Spread 1 1/2 tablespoons of this mixture on each baguette piece.

  • Step 3: Place a slice of salmon on each baguette piece.

  • Step 4: Top with onion and capers.

  • Step 5: Drizzle lightly with olive oil, optional.

  • Step 6: Sprinkle with pepper and serve.
