Step 2: Spread 1 1/2 tablespoons of this mixture on each baguette piece.
Step 3: Place a slice of salmon on each baguette piece.
Step 4: Top with onion and capers.
Step 5: Drizzle lightly with olive oil, optional.
Step 6: Sprinkle with pepper and serve.
