Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups chopped yellow onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 12 ounces cooked tuna (canned tuna)
  • 2 large eggs (hard boiled, chopped)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large skillet over medium heat, saute in olive oil the onions, garlic and bell peppers until onions are translucent

  • Step 2: Let the veggies cool down completely.

  • Step 3: Mix in tuna and chopped hard boiled eggs.

  • Step 4: Place about 3 tbsp. filling in the center of each dough circle. Brush the margin of each round with a little warm water.

  • Step 5: Fold dough in half over the filling, forming a half circle use your fingers to gently press the edges.

  • Step 6: Then Use a fork to seal them.

  • Step 7: Heat oven to 375°.

  • Step 8: Place empanadas on a baking sheet; bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
