The ingredients are:
  • 6 ounces uncooked capellini pasta
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 (6oz) package fresh spinach
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Grated peel of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh ground pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoon bacon pieces (or artificial bacon bits for vegetarian dish)
  • Parmesan cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook pasta according to package directions.

  • Step 2: While pasta is cooking, sauté garlic in butter in large frying pan, until tender.

  • Step 3: Add the oil, spinach, lemon juice, grated peel, capers, salt and pepper.

  • Step 4: Cook until spinach is wilted.

  • Step 5: Drain pasta and add to skillet; mix well.

  • Step 6: Sprinkle with bacon and parmesan.
