Step 1: Combine marinade ingredients in a large zip-lock bag.
Step 2: Add chicken, seal bag and squish to evenly coat.
Step 3: Refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
Step 4: Remove chicken from zip-lock bag and discard marinade.
Step 5: Grill, covered, until done, turning occasionally. Grill temperature and time varies as follows.
Step 6: Bone-in breasts (10-12 ounces), legs and thighs: 30-40 minutes over indirect medium heat.
Step 7: Chicken wings, 2-3 ounces: 18-20 minutes over direct medium heat.
Step 8: Boneless, skinless breasts. 6-8 ounces: 8-12 minutes over direct medium heat.
Step 9: Boneless, skinless thighs, 4 ounces: 8-12 minutes over direct high heat.
