Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups vodka sauce
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a plastic bag, mix together the Italian dressing, garlic, oregano, onion salt and the red pepper flakes.

  • Step 2: Add chicken pieces and let sit in refrigerator for at least four hours.

  • Step 3: In the meantime, drop the tomatoes in a pot of boiling water and let sit until skin loosens. Remove skin and allow cooling.

  • Step 4: Chop tomato and add to vodka sauce along with the chives and set aside.

  • Step 5: When chicken has marinated, preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Step 6: Place marinated chicken pieces in an oven-proof baking dish and cover with sauce.

  • Step 7: Bake for 1 hour, until chicken is cooked through.

  • Step 8: Remove chicken pieces from sauce and place on a pie plate, skin side up, and return to oven uncovered.

  • Step 9: Bake for another 15 to 20 minutes or until skin has crisped a bit.
