Step 1: Rub salt into both steak, both sides, then score steak, top and bottom. Place steak in large ziplock bag (or 2 if needed.)
Step 2: Combine marinade ingredients and pour over steak. Squish bag so steak is evenly coated, chill overnight in fridge.
Step 3: Remove steak from fridge 2 hours before using. Then preheat grill, grill steaks 6-8 minutes per side.
Step 4: Let steaks sit for a full 5 minutes before slicing. Then cut across the grain into diagonal slices.
Step 5: If desired, pour marinade from ziplock bag to saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes, then serve over steak.
