Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 T butter, to grease baking sheets
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks
  • 3 cups oats (old-fashioned)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease baking sheets with butter.

  • Step 2: Melt butter. In mixer, cream butter and sugars, then add egg, water and vanilla.

  • Step 3: In separate bowl, whisk together flour, salt and baking soda. Add to mixer and beat on low setting til just incorporated.

  • Step 4: Mix in nuts, raisins and chocolate, then mix in oatmeal on lowest setting.

  • Step 5: Chill until dough is firm.

  • Step 6: Form 1" balls and place on baking sheets. Bake 9-12 minutes or until done. I use 350 convection convert which shows as 325 for 14 minutes, but I like my cookies crunchy!
