Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • COOKIES
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (plus more below)
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • ROLLING
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Do not grease rimmed baking sheet.

  • Step 2: Put ingredients in a bowl and gently mix with your hands. If needed, 1 more tablespoons flour.

  • Step 3: Roll into balls just over 1" and place on baking sheet.

  • Step 4: Bake for 9-10 minutes or until done. Fill a cereal bowl about half way with powdered sugar.

  • Step 5: Remove cookies from oven, and roll in powdered sugar right away. Transfer to cooling rack.

  • Step 6: Once cookies have cooled completely, roll in powdered sugar a second time.

  • Step 7: Store in an airtight container.
