Step 1: In the top of a double boiler, scald the milk, cream and vanilla.
Step 2: In a small bowl, beat the egg yolks and the sugar until light yellow in color.
Step 3: Add the egg mixture to the milk mixture very slowly, whisking constantly over low heat until the sauce thickens.
Step 4: Stir in the Grand Marnier.
Step 5: Pour the sauce into a tighly closing jar and refrigerate. Will keep up to 1 week.
Step 6: Serve over strawberries or other fresh fruit.
