Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons oil (extra virgin olive oil)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon thyme (fresh leaves chopped finely)
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary (fresh leaves finely chopped)
  • 600 grams mushrooms (large flats)
  • 1 lemon (cut into wedges to serve)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat a barbecue chargrill on medium high heat.

  • Step 2: Combine oil, garlic, thyme and rosemary in a bowl and season with salt and pepper and then brush mushrooms with olive mixture.

  • Step 3: Barbecue mushrooms for 6 to 8 minutes, turning halfway during cooking, or until charred and just tender and then transfer to a serving plate and serve with lemon wedges.
