  • 1 cup oats (rolled oats, traditional wholegrain)
  • 1 cup rolled barley
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons oat bran (unprocessed)
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon pepitas (pumpkin seeds roughly chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put the rolled oats, arley and water into a pan and cook over medium heat stirring occasionally. for 5 to 10 minutes or until the porridge is soft and creamy.

  • Step 3: Divide the porridge among 4 bowls and drizzle with the maple syrup and serve with low-fat milk.
