Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 whole (2-1/2 to 3-pound) chicken (cut into 8 pieces, or pieces of chicken that you like to use)
  • Salt & pepper
  • Oil, for the chicken browning
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 can (11 ounce) Cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 can (4 ounce) mushrooms, drained (sliced or button)
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper (or more)
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Paprika

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9- x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

  • Step 2: Heat some oil in a skillet. Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper then brown in oil on both sides. Arrange chicken pieces in baking dish.

  • Step 3: In a large bowl, mix together mayonnaise, cheddar cheese soup, mushrooms, wine, garlic, parsley, curry powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper; pour mixture over chicken. Sprinkle the top lightly with paprika.

  • Step 4: Bake 1 to 1-1/4 hours, until done.
