Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 200 grams unsalted butter
  • 2 cups caster sugar
  • 1 cup baking cocoa
  • 125 grams pecan nuts
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (plain)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 125 grams chocolate chips

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 160°C.

  • Step 2: Spray a large slice tin (would suggest a 9" x 13") with oil and then line with parchment/baking paper and spray again.

  • Step 3: Melt the butter and allow to cool,.

  • Step 4: Stir in the sugar and cocoa until combined.

  • Step 5: Fold through the chocolate chips and pecan nuts.

  • Step 6: Stir in the flour and baking powder until combined.

  • Step 7: Add the eggs one by one and stir until combined.

  • Step 8: Pour the mixture into prepared tin and place in the oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, should be firm to the touch.
