Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 packet (85 grams) noodles (Maggi 2-minute noodles, DO NOT use flavour sachet)
  • 50 grams cooked ham
  • 2 basil leaves
  • 2 whole mushrooms (I use button finely sliced)
  • 2 spring onions (finely sliced)
  • 1 small garlic clove (minced)
  • 50 ml double cream (thickened cream)
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt and pepper
  • Parmesan cheese (grated or shaved to taste)
  • Olive oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook the noodles as per the pack instructions (don't use flavouring sachet if enclosed).

  • Step 2: Finely chop the spring onion, garlic, ham and mushrooms.

  • Step 3: Splash olive oil into a hot frying pan and fry the chopped ingredients all together for 1 minute and then add the cream and heat thoroughly before adding the noodles into the sauce with a splash of the water the noodles were cooked in.

  • Step 4: Crack in the egg and stir through and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 5: Finish with shredded basil and sprinkle with parmesan and serve.
