Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 (1/2 pound) boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 1/4 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh minced parsley
  • 1 tablespoon minced chives
  • 4 ounce sliced bacon (4 slices, thick apple-wood)
  • Salt & fresh ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Using a sharp knife, cut a slit into the thick side of each chicken breast about 2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches deep.

  • Step 3: Mash together the Gorgonzola cheese, parsley, chives in a small bowl; season with black pepper. Divide the filling in half, and stuff each chicken breast with cheese filling.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle the chicken with the season salt.Heat 1 Tbs olive oil in a saute pan over medium low and slowly brown chicken on all sides.

  • Step 5: Wrap 2 slices of bacon around each breast, and secure with wooden toothpicks.

  • Step 6: Place the chicken breasts into the prepared baking dish.

  • Step 7: Bake in the preheated oven until the bacon is browned and the chicken is no longer pink inside, about 20 minutes.
