Step 1: In a dry large medium-hot skillet toast sesame seeds until light brown and fragrant. Remove from pan and set aside for garnish.
Step 2: Add the olive oil, garlic and ginger to skillet. Saute over medium heat for about one minute.
Step 3: Add water, salt, sesame oil, and peas to skillet. Turn up the heat and cover when water begins to boil. Reduce heat to simmer for about 2 minutes.
Step 4: Remove cover and turn up the heat, stirring the peas gently, until the water evaporates.
Step 5: Remove the peas to a serving platter; sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
