Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl cream butter and sugars until craamy.
Step 3: Add egg, peanut butter, baking soda, salt and vanilla. Mix well.
Step 4: Add flour, oats and nuts. Mix in well.
Step 5: Spread mix evenly into pan, and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Step 6: Take out of oven and sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the top. As they melt, spread with a knife all over the top. Set aside to cool.
Step 7: In a medium size mixing bowl add confectionary sugar, peanut butter and 2 tablespoons of milk. Mix until smooth, adding the last tablespoon of milk, if needed, to make it creamy but not runny.
