Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 60 grams butter
  • 30 grams sliced bacon, (4 slices rindless and chopped)
  • 128 grams mushrooms, (8 fresh sliced)
  • 600 grams cabbage, (shredded)
  • 1 spring onion (scallion - optional)
  • Black pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Chop bacon, slice mushrooms and shred cabbage.

  • Step 2: Slice spring onion (scallion) if using. Set aside.

  • Step 3: Heat butter on medium heat in a large fry pan (skillet).

  • Step 4: Add bacon and mushrooms and cook for 1 minute.

  • Step 5: Add the cabbage and cook for a further 4 or 5 minutes until wilted.

  • Step 6: Stir in spring onion, if using, and season with black pepper.
