  • POPPY SEED DRESSING
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • SALAD
  • 1 package (16 ounce) mixed salad greens
  • 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
  • 2 kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pint strawberries, sliced
  • 1 can (8 ounce) mandarin oranges, drained

How to Make

  • Step 1: Sprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar into a nonstick skillet; stir constantly until sugar melts and coats almonds. Remove from heat when almonds are brown. Be careful because almonds burn easily.
