  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 6 potatoes, sliced (some people par boil theirs)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Garnish
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute finely chopped onion in butter. Add paprika when onions are lightly browned; then add potatoes and salt.

  • Step 2: Cover and keep stewing, adding enough water to keep potatoes from sticking. Turn now and again with pancake turner.

  • Step 3: Simmer until potatoes are soft.

  • Step 4: Before serving add a little sour cream, if desired.
